Interior Lighting Maintenance Services

LITECH provides maintenance programs that consist of weekly, monthly, quarterly and on-call visits to customer locations.  Our regularly scheduled route visits include repairing any light fixtures that are inoperative and checking the emergency/exit lighting.

Specific work requested by the customer is handled through on-call work orders.  We also provide group relamps based on the customer’s operating hours and lamp types to maintain optimum lumen output levels.

Sign and Exterior Lighting Maintenance Service

As a Licensed Sign Contractor with the City of Columbus, LITECH offers any type of sign service including Neon, Fluorescent, LED and Electronic Message Centers.  We also offer parking lot lighting maintenance services.  LITECH maintains a full service truck fleet including a 62; Elliot Crane, a 55’ Elliot Bucket Truck, a 37” Lift-all Bucket Truck as well as 5 service vans all staffed by well-trained, qualified and certified service personnel.

Lighting Audit Service

With our Lighting Audit Service, we provide a complete energy saving audit of commercial, industrial, retail and government facilities.  This audit is a survey of the interior lighting systems and is performed on location on a room-by-room basis.  If desired, this audit can include exterior lighting too.

As a part of the audit, we can provide an annual electricity savings report based on operating hours, kilowatt/hour rates and energy efficient recommendations for various light fixture types.  LITECH recommendations are based on IES standards for the particular application and payback periods.  We can also furnish lighting layouts for new fixture installations.

Lighting Installation Service
 
Our certified technicians are trained to install all types of energy efficient lighting products including ballast, lamps, reflectors, HID and Fluorescent fixtures, dimming controls and occupancy sensors.  A LITECH project manager will provide reports of the job progress on a daily and/or weekly basis. All safety standards and procedures are followed throughout all of our projects.

Lighting Disposal Services
 
Using EPA approved recycling facilities, LITECH provides proper disposal of Fluorescent, HID and Incandescent lamps that may contain mercury or lead. Any ballasts that contain PCB’s are also disposed of at an EPA approved facility.  Disposal includes proper packaging and shipping.  Certificates of disposal are provided to the customer for their records.
